ABSTRACT. The title of this research is the influence of bingo game toward seventh grade students’ vocabulary mastery at Surya Mandala Junior High School. The research problem does the bingo game influence students’ vocabulary mastery of seventh grade. The aim of this research was to find out whether the use of Bingo game improve students’ vocabulary at Surya Mandala Junior High School or not. The method of this research was pre-experimental design with the treatment held in three meetings, 2x40 minutes in each meeting. In this research, the writer took 15 students from VII class as the sample. The research design of this research was one group pre-test and post-tests design. The population of this research was Seventh Grade Students of Surya Mandala Junior High School and the sample was one class. In collecting the data, the writer used tests. The writer used the test instrument in the form of multiple choice and essay test. For analysing the data, the writer used Pre-test. From the data analysis, it was found that the result Pre-Test was 26.67 % of 4 students and post-tests 1 was 60% of 9 after applied bingo game then last post-tests retreatment and played the game was 100% of 15 students. This result is consulted to the score of the value significant generated Sig. Therefore, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of using bingo game towards students’ vocabulary mastery. Key words: Bingo game; vocabulary mastery; pre-experimental research

ABSTRACT This research studies the improvement of students’ vocabulary mastery through storytelling at eight grade students of SMPN 1 Kupang. The research aim was to find out the students’ improvement on vocabulary through storytelling. The research applied the quantitative research, using pre-experimental design in this study. There were 29 students at eighth grade of SMPN 1 Kupang which in class C, 29 students were participated in this research. The data collection was obtained by using tests, pre- tests and post-tests. While technique of data collection is found by calculating the mean score in both pre-test and post-test. The result of this study showed that there is a significance difference between pre-test and post-test as the mean score of pre-test was 39,51 and in post-test is 78,89. Based on that students’ vocabulary mastery improved 39,38 points. While, in paired sample test, there is a significance result between the pre-test and post-test based on the significance value is 0.0000.05. The hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. There is an improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery. The research questions have answered.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to improve students’ vocabulary
mastery through pictures. This research was a classroom action research
conducted in Group B PAUD Banner. In this study, the researcher applied 2
research cycles. Each cycle consisted of four steps; planning, acting, observing
and reflecting. Researchers used two techniques to collect data, namely:
observation, and documentation. The data were classified in the form of
quantitative. Quantitative data were obtained through game test. Quantitative
data were analyzed using statistics formula. The result of the study in each cycle
showed that there was an increasing in the number of students who get score
above the passing grade, from 3 students in pre cycle to 14 students in cycle 2.
The percentage of success increased from37, 63% in pre cycle, 55, 26% in cycle
1, and 80.26% in cycle 2. This result also showed that pictures were effective to
improve students’ vocabulary mastery at the early childhood education level,
especially in group B of PAUD Banner.

ABSTRACT
This study discusses the strategies applied by English teachers. The author conducted this research with the title A study on the strategies applied by English teachers in teaching vocabulary at SMP Lanud El tari Kupang in academic year 2021/2022 to achieve the objectives of the research, the purpose of this study is to help students’ in learning, especially in learning vocabulary data were collected through observations and interviews at SMP Lanud El tari Kupang, the data collected the analysis using descriptive qualitative research reveals that the strategies, applied by the teacher are very helpful for students’ in the learning process.
The strategy used is memorization, synonym/antonym, translating, fill in the blank, explanation, and realia. There are several additional strategies used by the teacher, namely: Students describe objects, students who succeed in describing and guessing the object correctly and given a gift a prize. Using simple and concise explanations, no need to be complicated so that students can easily understand. Students come forward to give the names of these objects and mention them one by one, the students who writes the most and correctly names the objects is the winner. Teachers does not use other difficult word. And provides oral written and explanation.

The title of this writing was” The use of powerpoint to increase the vocabulary mastery of seventh grade students of smp adhyaksa 2 kota kupang in school year 2021/2022 ( a pre- experimental study).And the research problem is can the use of powerpoint increase of students vocabulary mastery. The purpose of this research is to find out how is the increase of students vocabulary mastery.This research is an experimental research and used quantitative method. And the technique of data analysis takes from the pre test and post test to take the data from the seventh grade students based on the research poblem. And theory from sugiyono about pre- experimental design includes only one group or class that is given pre test and post test. There are two kinds of tests used, namely pre test and post test. The results showed that: frist,there were differences in students’vocabulary mastery before and after the teacher gave the material using powerpoint and without using powerpoint. The average pre test1530 while the average post test is 2070. Therefore, there is a difference after using powerpoint in learning process to improve students’ vocabulary mastery and it can be proven that the use of powerpoint has a greatly influence to increase students’ vocabulary mastery at Smp Adhyaksa 2 Kupang in the Academic year 2021/2022.

The title of this research is "Effectiveness of Reading Short Stories to Improve Vocabulary Mastery of Grade 9 Students of SMPN 10 KUPANG". The formulation of this problem is whether short story improve students' vocabulary mastery at SMP N 10 Kupang? The aim of study is to find out wheter short story to improve students vocabulary mastery. method used in this paper is a quantitative method. The research data was taken from class 9B through two methods, namely pre test and post test at SMP N 10 Kupang. The writer collects and analysis students' improvement in reading short stories to increase vocabulary and presents the results. The results of the analysis show that the students' short story reading vocabulary skills at SMP N 10 Kupang have increased. This can be seen based on the t-test measurement which shows that the significant value of the test is 0.000 ≤ 0.05. This means that there is a difference in value between the pre test and post test. The author hopes that this research can increase knowledge about the Effectiveness of Reading Short Stories to Improve Vocabulary Mastery of Class 9B Students in the teaching and learning process.

The title of this writing is The Improving of Teaching English Vocabulary Using Pictures To The Young Learners English Beginners At Around Liman Beach This research was conducted to answer two research problems, namely 1)Can the pictures improve young learners vocabulary knowledge? 2) How is the application of teaching English vocabulary using pictures to the young learners English beginners at around Liman beach?The aims of this study is to find out the improving and the application of teaching English vocabulary using pictures to the young learners English beginners at around Liman beach. In this research the writer did use quantitative research was used as a method in this study and research design used experimental research. The improving of teaching English vocabulary use pictures to give young learners understand about the meaning and kind of pictures, The study was carried out 6 young learners as English beginners. The data were gathered through tests which were divided into pre-test and post-test. The result of this study indicates that teaching English vocabulary using pictures for the young learners is very effective and increase their knowledge of vocabulary. They gained score of pre-test (69,16) and the score of post-test (88,3). This scores prove that significant different between pretest and posttest. Therefore, teaching English vocabulary using pictures to the young learners English beginners is very motivated and effective for them.

ABSTRACT This research was under the title “The use of picture to audio-visual aids on vocabulary for young learners” .The aim of this research was to explain the teacher teach vocabulary using pictures and audio visual and explain the procedures apply by the teacher in teaching vocabulary using pictures and audio visual. The method used was descriptive qualitative method. There were one video that was taken from you tube as the sample of this research. The result showed that Media audio visual was useful because 1)it serve as an important motivator in the language teaching. 2) it provides students with content, meaning, and. guidance are presented and practiced.3) reinforces for students the direct relation between the language classroom and the outside world..4) provides with a way of addressing the needs of both visual and auditory learners. 5) The teachers can expose their students to multiple input sources with media audio visual. 6) motivates students by presenting language in it is more complete communication complex 7) effective to stimulate the happiness of students in learning language.8) The students do not just hear language, they see it too.9)It allows students a look at situations more than in the classroom.10) It give the potential to create something memorable and enjoyable.11)Young learners can enjoy studying English like listen to the teacher then look at the media and play the game. 12) Young learners will be more motivated to pay more attention in the class and they can relate their learning with their real life. The procedures teaching using pictures audio visual are the teacher : 1) starts class with greetings, 2) asks introduction questions to students,3) asks the students to practice singing together,4) does a very quick conversation then ask back to the students, 5) improve the question based on the conversation,6) shows the picture and the student guess the pictures,7) matchs the pictures based on topic on the blackboard,8) uses power point to show the pictures,9) uses the picture that stick on the board then the students match the word to the season that state in with power point.,10) uses the picture that stick on the board and collaborate with power point,11) uses the picture in the book,12) uses the picture as the media for the students to play Therefore, the teachers were needed to use aid audio visual for the young learners if the school are able to provide it because it could help the young learners to study English vocabulary.
