This study was conducted under the title: Improving Students Writing in Procedure Text By Using Video At Seventh Grade Students Of SMP Negeri 1 Kupang Tengah. The aim at this research was to find out whether or not the use of video can improve students writing in procedure text. The research problem is “Can using videos improve students writing skills in procedure text?”. Answer the problem of this study, the writer employed a pre-experimental design by in this study. Class VIIA students of SMPN 1 Kupang Tengah who took part in class were 30 students, the research were taught procedural text using video. And were tough without video but using some materials, then the post-test was distributed to them where the result shows that the post-test mean score is 340 and the mean score of the pre-test is 196. that staticall calculation shows the t-test value of both experimental and control is 2599. this means that the result of t-test in post test is significant. This is due to treatment that was only exposed to the experimental group in teaching the material before having the post-test. This concludes that the use of video can improve students writing in procedure text.

The problem of this research is whether students can improves speaking skill using YouTube videos? This study aims to describe YouTube videos as an effective medium to improves English speaking skill and to collect information regarding the use of YouTube videos in the process of teaching and learning English. Data collection was carried out using the pre-test and post-test give to students. The results showed that there were differences in the results of the students' pre-test post-test took from various sources using You- Tube videos. In fact, YouTube video media can not only be adapted for children but can also be extended to all levels of education and allows students to quickly practice their own speaking skill.

ABSTRAK PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA VIDEO TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KRISTEN DI SMA NEGERI 7 KUPANG TAHUN 2022/2023 Mbali M. N. (*) Natonis A. D (**) Timo N. I. E. (**) Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh penggunaan media video terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di SMA Negeri 7 Kupang Tahun 2022/2023. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di SMA Negeri 7 Kupang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X yang beragama Kristen Protestan dengan jumlah siswa 304. Adapun yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XA sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang dan siswa kelas XB sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 24 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah rumus uji “t”. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa hasil belajar dari siswa yang menggunakan media video yakni nilai tertinggi 93, nilai terendah 73 dan nilai rata-rata 84,25. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode ceramah antara lain nilai tertinggi 86, nilai terendah 40 dan nilai rata-rata 61,29. Hal ini juga dapat dilihat dari uji hipotesis menggunakan uji “t” yakni diperoleh t hitung 11,71 dan t tabel 1,682 dan dapat diketahui bahwa ttabel 11,71 > t hitung 1,682.Dari ketentuan tersebut, maka Ha diterima artinya ada pengaruh penggunaan media video terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di SMA Negeri 7 Kupang. Media Audio Visual adalah media instruksional modern sesuai degan perkembangan zaman, meliputi media yang dapat dilihat dan di dengar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengetahui penggunaan media audio visual video pada siswa kelas X IPA 2 di SMA Negeri 2 Kupang Timur. (2) untuk mengetahui penggunaannya dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen Dan Budi Pekerti. Untuk mencapai tujuan diatas, digunakan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. sedangkan untuk analisisnya penulis menggunakan teknik analisis deksriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media audio visual dengan materi Roh Kudus Membaharui Gereja mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa khususnya variabel motivasi belajar dapat dijelaskan dari banyaknya siswa yang menyatakan senang terhadap penggunaan media audio visual video ini dan tumbuhnya motivasi untuk belajar, semangat siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Agama Kristen dan Budi Pekerti dapat membuat suasana kelas menjadi hidup. Dengan demikian, bahwa penggunaan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa

The study of this research is entitled “An Analysis Of Language Styles Used In Seminar On Elt Subject Video Presentation By Student Of English Study Program At Artha Wacana Christian University’’The writer formulated two research questions as what types of language style are used on video presentation and what are the most language style used on video presentation by Student of English Education Study Program. The aims of this research were to find out the types and to identify the dominant type of language style are used on video presentation by Student of English Education Study Program. The data was taken from students’ video presentation and the writer transcribed and analyzed the data by using descriptive qualitative analysis in conducting this research. Therefore, the result of this study shows that there are four types of language style that found in students’ video presentation such as frozen, formal, consultative, and intimate style. From the four styles above, formal style is the most dominant style found in this study. It means that a lot of english students prefer to use formal style when they are going to make a presentation.

ABSTRACT
This thesis is entitled “A Descriptive Evaluation on Basic English Digital Video Design for Women migrant workers ”. The problem is what are the Evaluation result arrived from the use of Basic English Digital Video Designed for Women Migrant Workers ?. The aim of this study is to get the evaluation result arrived from the use of Basic English Digital Video Designed for Women Migrant Workers. Research method in this research is used descriptive qualitative method. Data resource is only one Tutor of women migrant workers. The researcher used observation, interview for video designed while checklist form to collect the data evaluation. Data evaluation used Riyana’s theory and explained it in evaluation form. The results of this research are: 1) Evaluation I on the basic english digital video designed such as Image Selector; Some of the images are blurries. Video Display; Text is on the middle of the screen covers the content. 2)Development on the basic English digital video designed to develop evaluation I in order to be accepted academically such as image selector; some images are blurries, to be clear images writer did development to do revision. Video display text on the middle of the screen in order to bellow the screen writer did development as part of revision on evaluation I. 3)Evaluation II on the basic English digital video design such as form of writing; In the screen some words in cantonese are typos. Video effectiveness; No words and sentences in english combines english voices. (4) Development on the basic english digital video designed to develop the result of evaluation II in order to be accepted as the need of tutor of women migrant workers such as Form of writing; In the screen some words in cantonese are typos in order to be correct typing writer did development to do revison as part of evaluation II. Video effectiveness; No words and sentences in english combines English voices in order to complete english voices effectively writer did development to do revision on evaluation II.

The title of this writing “A Descriptive Study on English Learning Strategy Found in Teaching and Learning Process on Youtube Videos” The research problems of the study were: 1) What are the types of learning strategies applied by the teacher on youtube video? and 2) How are the teacher on Youtube applied the learning strategies in teaching and learning? The method used in this writing is qualitative method. The data of this resarch was taken from three youtube videos. The writer collected and analyzed: 1) The types of learning strategies applied by the teacher on youtube video and 2) The teacher on Youtube applied the learning strategies in teaching and learning. After analyzed the data, the writer found that the types and the meaning of learning strategies applied by the teacher on youtube video namely: 1) Direct learning strategies (direct instruction), 2) Indirect learning strategy (indirect instruction), 3) Interactive learning strategies (interactive instruction) dan 4) Independent learning strategy. The writer hope this research can add more knowledge about teaching strategies in teaching and learning process.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media alat peraga berbantuan video terhadap kemampuan retensi siswa di SMP Negeri SATAP Letenaek pada materi sistem ekskresi pada manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode true ekskperimen dengan desain penelitian posttest-Only Control Design yang melibatkan 44 siswa kelas VIII (VIII A kelas eksperimen dan VIII B kelas kontrol) sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah metode mengingat kembali (recall) dengan soal isian sebanyak 10 butir ( jenjang kognitif C1, C2 dan C3). Posttest 1 dilakukan setelah selesai pembelajaran sedangkan posttest 2 diadakan setelah 7 hari dengan nilai rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen berturut turut 87% dan 78% dan persentase retensinya sebesar 89% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol berturut turut 81% dan 55% serta persentase retensinya 68% dengan kriteria cukup. Pada kelas eksperimen retensi siswa lebih tinggi karena menggunakan media pembelajaran alat peraga dan video. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan pada perhatian siswa ketika mengikuti pembelajaran, suasana kelas dan nilai posttest siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan nilai signifikan (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 di tolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan alat peraga dari bahan bekas berbantuan video terhadap kemampuan retensi siswa.
