The title of this writing is “Descriptive Study On Imperative Sentence In Sabu Langauge”. This research was conducted to answer research problem; 1. What are the types of imperative sentence in sabu language? 2. What are the function of imperative sentence in Sabu language? The aim of this research was to find out the types of imperative and the function of imperative sentence in sabu language. The writer used qualitative method (interview and recording), base on the data and fact that serve in narrative explanation and did the interview. and the result of the interview show and answer those research problem about the types and function of imperative sentence in Sabu Language. The types of imperative sentence in sabu languae consists of two types those are positive and negative command. while the function of imperative sentence in Sabu Language consist of five function those are 1. Imperative sentence as Instruction. 2. Imperative sentence as Request 3. Imperative sentence as Suggestion, 4. Imperative sentence as Advise, 5. Imperative sentence as Prohibition.

ABSTRACT
This thesis is under the title “ A Descriptive Study On Imperative Sentence in Pitch Perfect 3 Movie” This study aimed to axplain and analyze type and function of the Imperative sentence that appeared in Pitch Perfect 3 movie. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative method. To achieve the objectives of this study, the writer collected the data through watching the movie. The findings revealed that there are 105 imperative sentences and two types of imperative sentence, they are: 78 positive imperative sentences and 27 Negative imperative sentences. There are six functions of imperative sentence they are 38 sentences as command, 10 sentences as request, 7 sentences as invitation, 19 sentences as suggestion, 8 sentences as advice and 23 sentences as prohibition. The writer expects this research could give some information or knowledge about imperative sentence. The writer also expects that this research is useful to increase appreciation of literature in this case movie and is expected to motivate teachers and students to produce new ideas that are more creative and innovative in the future.

This thesis is entitled "Comparative Analysis of Imperative Sentences between English and Uab Meto" which aims: (1) to find out the types and functions of imperative sentences in English and Uab Meto. (2) and find the similarities and differences between imperative sentences in English and Uab Meto. The author uses the descriptive method to explain the types and functions of imperative sentences in English and Uab Meto. The comparative method is used to analyze the similarities and differences between English and Uab Meto, which are sourced from the New International Version of the English Bible and Uab Meto Beno Alekot: Sulat Knino Anbi Uab Meto Neno-Neno 'Bible Good News Dawan Language every day' from the gospel of Mark, Luke, and John in data collection. Based on the results of this study shows there are similarities and differences between English and Uab Meto, namely: (1) the types of imperative sentences in two languages are positive and negative imperatives. (2) The function of imperative sentence in English has six functions: commands, requests, invitations, suggestions, advice, and prohibitions. While Uab Meto has seven functions such as command, requests, invitations, suggestions, advice, prohibitions, and warnings. (3) First, these two languages have the same positive basic sentence patterns: S+V; S+V+O+C; V+O and V+O+C. Second, the negative sentence patterns between English and Uab Meto have differences, namely: Don't+S+V, and Don't +S+V+O but in English Don't +V and Don't +V+O. Third, the pronouns of both languages also have differences because Uab Meto 2SG has differences with 2P1, namely Ho for 2SG and Hi for 2P1. Whereas in English 2SG and 2P1 are the same it is You. So it can be concluded that imperative sentences in two languages are not the same because each language has its own characteristics.

ABSTRACT This research about an analysis of imperative sentences in Kupang malay daily communication. To support this study the writer used theory of Swan (1982:77). The other theory that the writer used come from Quirk and Greenbaum (1973:200-202). The reserach problems of this study are what are the types of imperative sentences in Kupang malay and how are the form of impertive sentences in Kupang malay.The aims of this study to find out the types and the form of imperative sentences in Kupang malay. Descriptive qualitative method is apllied in this research. The object of this study is Kupang Malay. There are four types of imperative sentences, namely : imperative sentences as a command, imperative sentences as a request, imperative sentences a direction and imperative sentences as prohibition. There are five form of imperative sentences such as :imperative sentences without subject, imperative sentences with subject, imperative sentences with Let, negative imperative sentences and persuasive imperative sentence. The data was collected by watching the videos from Youtube and transcribe, then translate it into English, specify into the types and the form of imperative sentences. After analyzing the data the writer found forty one data of imperative sentences used in kupang malay, that consist of : eleven of imperative sentences as a command, twenty three of imperative sentences as a request, and seven of imperative sentences as a prohibition. The the writer also found twenty three data as formof imperative sentences in kupang malay, which is consist of : six imperative sentences without subject, four imperative sentences with subject, two imperative sentences with Let, six negative imperative sentences and four persuasive imperative sentence.
