[email protected] Latar belakang:Latar Belakang Masalah dalam penelitian belum diketahui unsur-unsur gerak dan pola gerak dasar yang terdapat dalam tarian “kosu” pada masyarakat amarasi. hal inilah yang melatar belakangi peneliti untuk mengetahui komponen gerak tari kosu pada masyarakat amarasi di desa Oebesi Kecamatan Amarasi Timur Kabupaten Kupang. Tujuan penelitian:Untuk mengetahui komponen gerak tarian kosu pada masyarakat Desa Oebesi Metode penelitian:Metode penelitian ini menggunakn metode deskriptif kualitatif yang digunakan sebagai cara untuk memecahkan suatu masalah. Hasil dan pembahasan:Berdasarkan hasil observasi peneliti dengan beberapa informa diatas, maka peneliti menyimpulkan juga bahwa : dalam budaya gerak tari “kosu” yang dilakukan mengikuti irama musik pada masyarakat Amarasi di Desa OebesiKecamatan Amarasi Timur Kabupaten Kupang terdapat Komponen-Komponenbiomotorik yang terbentuk secara alamiah karena budaya gerak dalam kehidupan Masyarakat Amarasi di Desa Oebesi yang dilakukan tanpa sengaja khususnya dalam tarian kosu. Simpulan:Kesimpulan dari gerak tarian diatas bahwa yang mengandung unsur olahraga pada gerak tarian kosu yaitu dimana gerakan dari gambar 4.1 – 4.7 unsur dominan yang peling banyak adalah : kekuatan otot, daya tahan, kecepatan , daya ledak ,keseimbangan,koordinasi dan kelenturan itulah komponen yang terkandung dalam tarian kosu.
