The title of this writing is “Descriptive Study On Imperative Sentence In Sabu Langauge”. This research was conducted to answer research problem; 1. What are the types of imperative sentence in sabu language? 2. What are the function of imperative sentence in Sabu language? The aim of this research was to find out the types of imperative and the function of imperative sentence in sabu language. The writer used qualitative method (interview and recording), base on the data and fact that serve in narrative explanation and did the interview. and the result of the interview show and answer those research problem about the types and function of imperative sentence in Sabu Language. The types of imperative sentence in sabu languae consists of two types those are positive and negative command. while the function of imperative sentence in Sabu Language consist of five function those are 1. Imperative sentence as Instruction. 2. Imperative sentence as Request 3. Imperative sentence as Suggestion, 4. Imperative sentence as Advise, 5. Imperative sentence as Prohibition.

The title of this Study is a descriptive study on language Styles in the film Greyhound. The problem of this study is what style of language is used in the movie Greyhound?. According to Joos' theory about five style.. This research is intended to examine the language style by all the cast of the film "Greyhound". Language variety is the use of language according to the relationship of speech with the interlocutor for communication with conditions influenced by social interaction. As in the movie starring the four main characters, they are Tom Hank, Stephe Graham, Rab Morgan, Elisabeth Shue. In the film there is a variety of languages. Researchers only focus on speech that contains a variety of languages of five types, frozen, formal, consultative, casual and intimate, because the source of the data in this study is a conversational dialogue in the form of text. The research method uses a qualitative method, namely by looking at the film and then looking for text that contains language variations in the conversation, then grouping it together. With the details of the data as follows: the type of variety frozen four data, the type of formal variety there are forty data, the type of consultative variety there are twenty-four, in the type of casual variety there are nineteen data, and intimate there are eleven data. It can be concluded that from the use of language varieties, the most dominant is the formal variety type, there are forty data.

This research is about an analysis on idiomatic expressions found in Robert Fahik’s novel Badut Malaka. To support this study the writer used theory of Fernando (1996:36). The other theory that the writer used come from Palmer (1986:27). The research problems of this study are what are the kinds of idiomatic expressions and how are the forms of the idiomatic expressions inBadut Malaka Novel by Robert Fahik. The aims of this study are to describe and classify the kinds and the forms of idiomatic expressions found in badut malaka novel by Robert Fahik. Qualitative method is used in doing this research. The data was taken from the Badut Malaka novel. In this research, the writer used documentation technique to collected the data from the novel ,then analyzed the idiomatic expression of each utterance that includes to the kinds of idiomatic expression and forms of idiomatic expression. After analyzing the data, the writer found three kinds of idiomatic expressions they are pure idiomatic, semi idiomatic, and literal idiomatic, and four forms of idiomatic expression are verb plus noun, verb plus adverb, verb plus preposition, and verb plus adverb and preposition used in the badut malaka Novel by Robert Fahik. The kinds of idiomatic expression are pure idiomatic, such as mengetuk dinding-dinding hatiyang beku, it is means give strength, semi idiomatic, such as melahirkan duka it is means a great sadness, literal idiomatic, such as kepala tegak it is means proudly, and the forms are verb plus noun, such as mengetuk dinding-dinding hatiit is means give strength, verb plus adverb, such as membaca dibalik dadamu it is means feel believe, verb plus preposition, such as tertancap diit is means borne, verb plus adverb and preposition, such as kembali ketanah kelahirannya dengan tegak kepala it is means proudly. After analyzing the data the writer found twenty five data of kinds idiomatic expressions used in badut malaka novel, that consist of : eight of idioms as pure idiomatic expression, four of idioms as semi idiomatic expression, and thirteen of idioms as literal idiomatic expression. The writer also found twelve data as a forms of idiomatic in novel, which is consist of : five data are verb plus noun, two data are verb plus adverb, three data are verb plush preposition ,and verb plus adverb and preposition are two

The title of this writing is “An Analysis of Ngoko Java Language Maintenance by East Java Youngsters of Arek Jatim Community at Kupang City”. This research was conducted to answer two research problems; 1. What are the reasons and efforts of East Java Youngsters still use and maintaining Ngoko Java Language at Kupang City?; and 2. What are the factors of East Java Youngsters in maintaining Ngoko Java Language at Kupang City?. It is an analysis of maintaining Ngoko Java language in Kupang City by East Java Youngsters. The writer used descriptive qualitative method (interview and documentary analysis) as the data and facts served in narrative explanation and grouped the conversation that suitable the language used. And the result of interview showed and answered those research problems about reasons, efforts, and factors of maintaining Ngoko Java language that did by East Java Youngsters of Arek Jatim Community in Kupang City. The reasons of maintaining Ngoko Java language are it is easier to build communication, it can encourage the same Javanese to still use and maintain Ngoko Java language, it is a habits of East Java Youngsters for using Ngoko Java language. The efforts of maintaining Ngoko Java language are join in a community like Arek Jatim community they will get good communication and build self- identity for where they are come from, they ask to their parents, family to speak use Ngoko Java language. The factors of maintaining Ngoko Java language are the people around and community that they are join is.
