IDENTIFIKASI DAN KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS GASTROPODA PADA ZONA INTERTIDAL DI PANTAI MBIU DESA MBIU LOMBO KECAMATAN NDAO NUSE KABUPATEN ROTE NDAO
Gastropods is animal which has soft body that moves with its stomach. Gastropods has an important role for ecology, economy and education. The purpose of this study was to find out the types and diversities of the Mbiu village, Ndao Nuse sub-district, Rote Ndao Regency. Method that used in this study was line transect method. Sampling location determination technique used sampling area. The method used in this study was Quantitative descriptive method. Based on this study resulted at Mbiu beach, gastropods class foubd 7 families, they were Conidae family, Strombidae family, Trochidae family, Turbinellidae family, Cypraeidae family, Volotidae family, and Angariidae family. Gastropods diversities index on transect I, II, III at Mbiu beach was medium, because showed H’= 1,82. But, abundance, relative abudance and domination index highest on Vasum tuyrbinellus species was 7,77 Ind/m2, 31,39%, 0,09. In conlusion, gastropods population at Mbiu beach. Beside that, need to do the next study on the different seasons to find out the morphology types found and its relationship with another biota.
