Abstrak
Abstrak Pantai Lalendo memiliki topografi landai tipe substrat pantai berpasir dengan sedikit batuan dan dasar perairan didominasi oleh pasir putih butiran halus dan lamun. Biota laut yang banyak terdapat di Pantai Lalendo (Inokiu) dimanfaatkan oleh mayarakat sekitar, terutama gastropoda. Gastropoda memiliki peran penting dalam studi ekologi dan sering digunakan sebagai indikator untuk menilai perubahan yang terjadi di lingkungan perairan. Keanekaragaman organisme baik jumlah spesies maupun jumlah individu-individu anggota spesies menentukan karakter komunitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas gastropoda yang ditemukan pada zona intertidal pantai Lalendo (Inokiu) Kecamatan Kupang Barat, Kabupaten Kupang. Penelitian ini dilaksanan pada bulan Maret-April 2022 di zona intertidal Pantai Lalendo (Inokiu) Kecamatan Kupang Barat, Kabupaten Kupang pada 3 (tiga) stasiun yaitu Stasiun I di samping PT Tom,Stasiun II di depan budidaya Mutiara, Stasiun III di samping budidaya mutiara.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis Gastropoda yang ditemukan pada 3 stasiun pengamatan di zona intertidal Pantai Lalendo (Inokiu) diperoleh 23 spesies dari 15 famili. Kelimpahan tertinggi Gastropoda di stasiun I adalah;Cerithium coloumna,Stasiun II adalahCanarium microurceus dan stasiun III adalahMargistrombus marginatus.Struktur komunitas gastropoda di zona intertidal pantaiLalendo ( Inokiu) tergolong diversitas sedang.Nilai keseragaman jenis Gastropoda mendekati nilai satu, maka keseragaman antar spesies sama atau merata.Dominansi Gastropoda di zona intertidal Pantai Lalendo ( Inokiu) tergolong rendah. Many marine biota found on the beach Lalendo ( Inokiu ) is used by local people, especially gastropods. Gastropods have an important role in ecological studies and are often used as indicators to assess changes that occur in the aquatic environment. Diversity organisms, both the number of species and the number of individual members of the species determine the character of the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the structure of gastropod community found in the coastal intertidal zone Lalendo ( Inokiu ) District West Kupang , Kupang Regency. This research was conducted in March -April 202 2 in the intertidal zone of Pantai Lalendo ( Inokiu ) District West Kupang , Kupang Regency at 3 (three) stations, namely Station I beside PT Tom , Station II at front cultivation Mutiara , Station III in side cultivation pearl . The method used in this research is a survey method. The results showed that the types of gastropods found at 3 observation stations in the intertidal zone of Pantai Lalendo ( Inokiu ) obtained 2 3 species from 1 5 families. The highest abundance of Gastropods at station I was; Cerithium coloumna , Station II is Canarium microurceus and station III is Margistrombus marginatus . Structure community gastropods in the intertidal zone Lalendo beach ( Inokiu ) is classified as medium diversity . The value of the uniformity of Gastropod species is close to the value of one, so the uniformity between species is the same or even. Gastropod dominance in the Coastal intertidal zone Lalendo ( Inokiu ) is low. Keywords: Structure community , gastropod , zone intertidal , beach Lalendo
