ABSTRACT MODIFIKASI MEDIA BALON UNTUK AKTIVITAS GERAK SEPAK SILA PADA SISWA KELAS VI DI SD INPRES KUANINO 2 KOTA KUPANG Krisdayanti A. Djami Bangngu1*, M. Rambu P. [email protected] Background: The problems often faced by elementary school students in the sepak takraw are basic techniques and equipment problems. The lack of educational facilities and infrastructure by schools requires teachers of physical education to be more creative in empowering and optimizing existing facilities and infrastructure following the conditions of students and schools. The equipment needed in the sepak takraw game includes a takraw ball and a net. The school only has a net and a ball and no field. Research objectives: This study aimed to determine the modification of the balloon as the media in the sixth-grade student's movement of sepak sila activity at SD Inpres Kuanino 2 Kupang City. Research method: This study used a naturalistic qualitative approach. Results and discussion: The research results and discussions on how to modify balloon media for class VI soccer practice activities at SD Inpres Kuanino 2 Kupang City using balloon media modifications. Researcher students changed balloon media as seen from 1) Modification of the number, 2 ) Heavy and light modifications, 3) Shape modifications. Conclusion: Suggestions for physical education teachers can use balloons as a substitute for balls because elementary students like the modified media from balloons, and students continue to be more enthusiastic and serious in participating in Physical Education learning.
