Abstrak
ABSTRACT This study entitled "A Descriptive Study On Stick Methods Applied by English Teachers in Teaching English". The problem of this research is, what are the procedures, strengths and weaknesses of the speech method applied by the teacher. The purpose of this study is to find the procedures, the strengths and the weaknesses of the Talk Stick method that is applied by the teacher in class. This research method is descriptive qualitative and the data sources are obtained. from documents in the form of 2 videos from YouTube about the speech stick learning model published by Vina Severina on November 30, 2019 and a video published by Fitriany Gustariny in 2018.The results of the data analysis show that the application of the talking stick method by the teacher is in accordance with the theory, namely about the procedures,the strength and the weaknesses of the talking stick method. This method is recommended for teachers to be able to apply it in classroom learning because the procedure is very easy to apply by considering its advantages and disadvantages.
