Mae, S.Pd., M,Or, Supervisors II): Jimmy Ch. Atty, S.Pd., M. Fis. This study aims to review basketball learning at SMP Negeri 8 Kupang City. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 8 Kupang City. This research takes 1 (one) month. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The instruments used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the learning of physical education at SMP Negeri 8 Kupang City was running optimally in terms of 3 main processes, namely, planning, implementation and evaluation. All these stages are carried out in a directed manner so that basketball learning becomes more effective. The researcher's suggestion in this study is that the basketball game is applied in learning because it can train students to gain achievement, and can also improve student attitudes in other types of sports and for teachers to pay more attention and deepen the content of basketball game material so that learning at school becomes more efficient.
