ABSTRACT TINJAUAN PELAKSANAAN TEKNIK KETERAMPILAN SHOOTING DALAM PERMAINAN BOLA BASKET PADA SISWA SMA NEGERI 2 ENDE Eustakius Erland Rhande1*, Ramona M. [email protected] Background: Physical education has a very important role in the implementation of education as a process of human development that lasts a lifetime. Physical education provides opportunities for students to be directly involved in learning experiences through physical activity. Basketball is a game that is played on a rectangular, flat court, either in an open (outdoor) or closed (indoor) area. One of the ways to develop basketball can be carried out in schools through non-formal (extracurricular) activities. Extracurricular activities are directed at fostering and enhancing talents, interests and abilities. This activity is expected to trigger student achievement, because achievement is not created in a short time. To be able to play basketball proficiently, it is required to have the ability to master the basic techniques first, without mastering the basic techniques you will definitely not be able to play basketball well. Research objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the technique of shooting skills in basketball games for students of SMA Negeri 2 Ende. Research method:Handled with the method of approach and type of descriptive research. The research was conducted on Physical Education teachers and class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Ende. Data collection techniques are by observation, interviews, documentation. Result and discussion: The results of the study indicate that there are several things that become obstacles in carrying out the learning process. Overview of the Application of Shooting Skills Techniques is a lack of preparation between teachers and students. The following will explain to achieve a better learning process in learning Shooting Skills Techniques students must really prepare themselves and master the basic techniques of shooting, especially basketball Conclusion: Based on the results and discussion, it was concluded that the learning process of throwing and catching small balls for class XI at SMA Negeri 2 Ende was very interesting, so that students were very happy and excited while participating in the learning process of shooting skill techniques.
